    Create a Link to a Tab or Accordion on a Separate Page

    To link to a Tab or Accordion on a separate page:

    • Navigate to the page containing the Tab or Accordion. Note: This example links to an Accordion. The process is the same for Tabs.
    • Click (open) the Accordion to be linked (Dashboard in this example).

    • Copy the relative link in the URL bar (at the top of the browser). Select and Ctrl+C
    • Note: The # symbol denotes the name of the open Accordion. Example: /guide/monitor-your-website-monsido#Dashboard-2294

    • Navigate to the page where the link will reside. Edit the page and select the link text.
    • Click the Link tool in the text editor (chain link icon).

    • Paste the copied relative URL into the Link URL field. Ctrl+V
    • Note: Be sure to include the preceding slash (/).

    • Click the green checkmark.
    • Save the page.

    • When clicked, the link takes the user to the designated page, and then scrolls to the open Accordion.

    Create a Link to a Tab or Accordion on the Same Page

    To link to a Tab or Accordion on the same page:

    • Navigate to the page containing the Tab or Accordion. This example links to an Accordion. The process is the same for Tabs.
    • Click (open) the Accordion to be linked (Accordion 2 in this example).

    • Copy the name of the Accordion in the URL address bar (at the top of the browser). The name includes the # symbol and everything after it (#Accordion2-2518 in this example). Select and Ctrl+C

    • Edit the page and select the link text.
    • Click the Link tool in the text editor (chain link icon).

    • Paste the copied Accordion name into the Link URL field (#Accordion2-2518 in this example). Ctrl+V

    • Click the green checkmark.
    • Save the page.

    • When clicked, the link scrolls to the designated Accordion.
    • Note: Currently, the How To content type does not support the opening of the Tab or Accordion when the same-page link is clicked. In this example, it scrolls to the linked Accordion without opening it automatically. Click the Accordion to open it.
