New Features

  • Improved Print Preview - Kudos to our intern, Braden Meagher, for cleaning up the print preview. Webpages will now print more cleanly, focusing on content, so you don't need to upload unnecessary PDFs! Thanks to Web Manager Heather Hugh Jones for reporting your observations.
  • Contact Cards now link with Google Maps to provide driving directions when an address is provided in much the same way as Events do.
  • When placed on a band with a dark background color, some paragraph components lacked the contrast necessary to read the text. Event Cards and Video Cards specifically were adjusted so that a white background color would be added to fill in behind the text for contrast against a dark colored band. An exception to this is the Article Card; because there are so many options to choose from for Article Cards, they are too complex to implement this change at this time. Be aware that you can select a light colored background for the text should you want to use a dark band color.

Updates & Fixes

  • Many of you observed that Tab/Accordions were grayed out and no longer editable, so we assisted you with a temporary fix until a permanent solution could be pushed. Something in the JQERY became deprecated, so we wrote a patch to fix it. Tab/Accordions are in working order again!
  • Website Feedback - Because Views are not an entity, the Website Feedback form that is part of the template for every website was not working well when the user tried to submit the form while on a View. Some configuration changes were made so that when the user is on a View, they can now submit the form. The only caveat is that the "Submitted To" column will be blank.
  • For agencies using JSON, all of the views using tables were getting some unwanted data table functionality, for instance, search and pagination were sometimes doubling information. The CSS class view-document fullDT can be added to the view. If you need help, Web Managers can submit a ServiceNow ticket for help with Views for Dawain Faison to assist.
  • Events had inherited additional unwanted padding in both the List and Grid views; this extra padding has been removed.
  • Issues with the Flexbox were corrected so that now all paragraph components in the same multi-column band will be the same height.
  • Updated Drupal Modules B Group
  • We discovered that there were two templates for the Utility Menu that were identical, so we removed the duplicate.
  • Problems with the Search Block for the Species/Community Search on the Natural Heritage Program website were resolved by our intern Katie Schwerer.
