Good to Know - Another Reason to Include a Summary!
A user in our community brought to our attention the fact that halfway down their Press Release view, all of the text from that point downward became italicized. We discovered that the reason for it was because the Summary field was left blank, so trimmed content used for an excerpt- and it just happened to break in the middle of some italicized text. The browser detected the opening tag but not the closing tag since it wasn't part of the excerpt.
While not a bug, it's good to know that this can happen and really reinforces the best practice of always including a deliberate Summary on all of your content types. Not only will you avoid odd formatting like happened in this case, but it enhances how your content interacts with search engines, in turn, helping people find the information they need.

Updates & Fixes
- Editoria11y wasn't keeping items "Marked as OK for all users" and kept flagging the same items as issues. This has been fixed.
- The new "On this Page" menu of jump links was interfering with the sub-page navigation for the Main Menu by sitting in front of menu items. This has been fixed.
- On bands with dark backgrounds and white content text, the toolbar for the paragraph component was errantly white on white, making it impossible to read. This has been fixed.
- We made changes to the margins on CTA Cards so that the content appears vertically centered.
- Mobile
- Padding between columns was fine on desktop but missing in mobile view; padding now appears on mobile so paragraph components are not bunched together.
- Some mobile devices automatically turn phone numbers into clickable links but others do not. The ones that do so automatically, created a contrast accessibility issue on Alerts with a blue link on top of a blue background. Our developers made adjustments to that the text will be white across devices, whether a device converts it to a clickable link or not.
- We also addressed an issue of the Pause/Play function not working on mobile when more than one Alert is active.
- Data Tables
- The Data Table module we use was updated, but the updated controls lacked contrast so we increased it for accessibility.
- For a time, the width option on Data Tables stopped functioning and all tables were showing at full width. The narrower options are restored and you can again choose from 3 possible width options.
- Tab/Accordion
- We made it so that all paragraph components can be inserted into the Tab/Accordion sidebars. Up until now, Contact, iFrame, and Webform Embeds were not available. We do not recommend using both iFrame and Webform in a single accordion; use this feature wisely.
- Sidebars were displaying wrongly and also featured text reading "Tab/Accordion Sidebar Paragraph" above it that shouldn't have been there. This has been corrected.
- We updated the user interface for the sidebar paragraphs. Instead of Tab/Accordion Paragraph, you will see First Sidebar and Second Sidebar to better describe content placement.
