Uses

You are exploring a Site Page right now. Usually nested under Landing Pages in the main menu, Site Pages contain detailed information on focused topics. Because they are often text-heavy, the content width is narrower than that of Landing Pages to make text easier to read. Most of your pages will be the Site Page Content Type.

Unique Features

  • This Site Page uses a Main Image. If you choose to include a Main Image, it appears behind the page title just above the breadcrumb.
  • On this Page: A simple checkbox allows you to enable a helpful On this Page menu which automatically creates jump links to anchors for any text styled with the H2 heading level.
  • Right Rail: The Right Rail is a contextual menu on the right side of the window that shows this Site Page in context of the website menu structure. On mobile devices, the Right Rail moves to the bottom of the page content.
  • Associated Files: Site Pages include optional fields for attaching files that appear at the bottom of the page.
  • Related Content: Site Pages include optional fields for linking for related content at the bottom of this page.
  • Display Date of Last Update: A simple checkbox allows you to display the date the page was last revised at the bottom of this page.

Control Layout with Bands

You control the layout by adding bands. Site Page bands offer two different layout options; bands may contain one or two columns of content.

Components

All Components can be placed on a Site Page except for the Carousel and Spotlight, which can only be used on Landing Pages.
