Webform Basic Training Signup - February 4

The Basic Webform Training class is for new and current users to the Digital Commons Drupal platform who are responsible for building and maintaining webforms for your agency.  This class is also for web managers who need a refresher in the basics of building webforms for your site.

By the end of the class, you should be able to develop 80-90% of your webforms with  little or no guidance.   We will incorporate an integrated hands-on workshop as part of this training.  I will train on a webform concept and then you will have an exercise to complete.

NOTE: If you are in the process of migration, we would request that each class participant assist in building your webforms during migration.

You will also be considered the Subject Matter Expert for your agency.

In this class you will learn:

  • Planning
  • Best Practices
  • Spam mitigation
  • How to navigate around the webform section of Drupal 
  • What are the most used elements in webforms
  • Using the webform Results page and downloading webform submission results
  • How to attach webform to a node
  • How to attach a webform to a landing page or site page
  • Setting up an email handler to automatically send and receive email notifications

This Basic Webform Training session will take place virtually (using Microsoft Team):

Prerequisites:

  • Website managers will be given first priority
  • Must be an active person creating a webform on your website (mainly individuals with the Website Manager role).
