Release Date is an optional field, however the Location field is required.
You can add a Subheading to the Press Release, as well as a Summary: this is a brief description that will be displayed on the view page, underneath the title of the Press Release. Add a Summary by clicking the "Edit summary" link in the Body field.
As with Site Pages, you have an option to attach Files and link to Related Content. You can include a Main Image like a Site Page (this example does not).
Right Rail
Note that Press Releases don't usually have a right rail menu. Other information displayed:
Contact Name, Contact Phone, and Contact Email. These are optional fields.
