Platform Roles and Permissions (Drupal 7) The User Roles on the Digital Commons platform are listed in order of hierarchy, from the lowest level of permissions to the highest. Event Creator Can create and publish new items for the event calendar. Editor Create Press Releases, Documents, Events, and Blog Posts (which can be published in views). Cannot create but can edit and save as draft or needs review: Site Pages, Data Tables, Webforms (which must be placed in a menu, and so requires a Site Admin to create). Cannot work on landing pages or blocks. Can access their own webform submissions only. May only delete their own content. Publisher Can do all the Editor functions. Publish existing content (except Landing Pages). Edit existing blocks on Landing Pages. Cannot put items in the menu. May delete only their own content. Site Manager Can do all the Publisher functions. Edit and publish Landing Pages. Create blocks and taxonomy. Access all webform submissions. Cannot add items to or edit the menu. Site Admin Can do all the Site Manager functions. Creates any new content that needs to be placed in a menu: Site Pages, Landing Pages, Data Tables and Webforms. Administer users on the platform (assign them their roles), Manage the menu.
