Digital Commons is a powerful platform that allows our state agencies to create and manage a wide range of content types. One of the most visitor-friendly content types is "How To", which is nicely chunked and can be used to provide step-by-step guides, tutorials, and instructional materials. In this blog post we'll explore how to create and use "How To" content on Digital Commons.

Agencies need to be aware of updates in technology to make informed decisions about what adaptations and changes to make. Google Analytics has been the go-to tool for analyzing visitor traffic and content efficacy since its launch in 2005. However come July 1, 2023 Google will end Universal Analytics and introduced a new version called Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This update is a major shift and requires agencies to reevaluate their analytics practice.

When Digital Solutions teams said goodbye to 2022, we left behind one of the most productive and successful years in our history. Last year we finished our long journey of migrating state agency websites to Drupal 9. A journey that started with in person co-workings at HQ Raleigh before the pandemic and under different leadership.
